To recap from part 1, Stephan J. Gould claims that head size and thus brain size does not have any relation to intelligence, and that IQ doesn't really mean anything anyway. The author attempted to dispel these notions by showing that your brain can instinctively determine likely intelligence of people by looking at their head size. Since you are walking the earth, your ancestors had the ability to guesstimate intelligence by looking at someone to help them determine how smart someone might be and thus how much of a threat they might be in the highly competitive game called life.
Life is competitive, liberals would like the world to be one big non-competitive love-in, but that's not gonna happen. What they really want is more capable people to quit competing with them because they realize they cannot compete against the more capable of us, called conservatives. Conservatives don't want to compete against someone and then be forced to give up all their "winnings" to the losers, that's just not fair.
The most powerful weapon a person has in competition with his neighbor is his brain, or more specifically his intelligence. Intelligence allows a person to plan ahead, correlate facts to his advantage (the stock market is falling, gold is rising, sell stocks, buy gold) and make logical decisions based on facts, not fantasy. When smart people play the game of life, they win, when dumb people play the game, they lose. Their only hope of overcoming this deficit is to play on the sympathy of the winners and hope they can get a payout. Do you ever see beggars dressed in nice clothes, standing next to a BMW or Audi? No, they scrounge up the most pitiful clothes they can find, don't shave, grow their hair out and look as forlorn as possible. They want to send a signal, they are so incompetent at the game of life, they cannot hope to survive on their own so you have to help them!
As we saw in part 1, another thing that can convince you that a person is incapable of supporting themselves is small head size. Bassou and Schlitzie were both too dumb to support themselves using intelligence, although Schlitzie actually did pretty well as a circus freak. Let's look at a few more pictures to see if we can get a sense of intelligence vs head size vs achievement.

In this composite, both images were taken from the same picture (Obama's inauguration day) so the scale is correct. I lined up their eyes with a straight line, and drew a line from the top of Obama's head. It looks like Bush's head is a little taller and it is definitely wider. Which one is smarter? We might have to wait and see but my money is on Bush.
We all now know the answer to the above question, under Bush the economy flourished despite the 9/11 terror attacks. Under Obama, who doesn't seem to understand how Free-Market Capitalism works America has suffered its longest recession in history.
In a new article on school spending cuts the NY Times tries to say that the "poor" are not getting the education they need to excel because they don't have enough money in their schools. However, in a strange twist the editorial cartoon shows what they mean by "poor". They really mean brown.

Look at the editorial cartoon that accompanied the article. I took the image and superimposed the "poor" person's head over the "wealthy" person's head. Notice the wealthy person is blonde, no doubt the intent was that she is white. Notice that the head size of the "poor" (i.e. brown) person is much smaller that the "rich" person. The cartoonist Jordan Awan knows how to portray a smart person, a smart person has a taller forehead! The smart person (white, rich, etc) has a prominent forehead in this illustration, and the dumb person (poor, brown, etc) has a smaller head. It might have been an accident, but you don't get to be an artist for the NY Times without being able to scale heads, hands, legs and other body parts properly. Perhaps Mr. Awan made an unintentional automatic scaling error in this illustration, but it works because you can tell who is poor (the brown girl on the right) and who is rich (the white girl on the left).
Does this make Mr. Awan a racist? No, not at all. As an artist he has to portray reality, perhaps even exaggerate a bit to make his point. In this case he made his point with cranium size, maybe accidentally, but you can't blame him for noticing that smart people have larger foreheads.
