"Fishermans Channel"
This side of the island is a lot quieter and much less used, by people anyway. Since the bank is muddy, no one uses the shore, but the animals sure like it. Beavers, otters, herons, racoons and deer frequent the shoreline, even with people nearly at arms reach in the three different moorages on the mainland side. Some of the herons are so used to people they can sleep right through the noise of a major floating home remodel.
